Haidée Drew is an interior accessories designer, she is passionate about working with ambitious brands, interior designers and private clients to create bespoke accessories, lighting and furniture. Educated at the Royal College of Art and with a background in contemporary craft her designs focus on unique decorative styles with a modern edge.
Highly sought after collaborative projects have brought forays into the architecture and interior design worlds to create bespoke work for historical collections of the V&A, Museum of London and Sir John Soanes Museum. International clients include but are not limited to Liberty, Heals, The British Museum, The National Gallery, Imperial War Museum and The Louvre with stockists operating throughout Europe, North America and Asia.
Her collections of interior accessories have a visual dialogue with the past, its inspiration taken from historical collections to create functional design with a sense of nostalgia whilst retaining a strong contemporary aesthetic and timeless feel. A love of decorative arts and fascination for familiar objects inspires ‘Everyday Extravagance’ an enduring theme at the heart of each collection.
Process and materials are as important as aesthetic, with products realised through a unique combination of Craft and Technology. This meeting of methods is utilised to create small personalised batches for a hand crafted sensibility with all objects hand assembled and finished at Sugarhouse Studios in East London.
